We have previously sponsored dogs that live with people that are
unable to afford grooming costs and food costs and so we take care of that for them so that they can keep their dogs rather
than have to give them up. Pets are so important to people who are lonely. In some cases the pets are true lifesavers.
We are so happy to be able to help.
.
We donate money to the AKC Health Foundation. They do so many different canine disease
research programs and their canine cancer research has even benefited human cancer research.
.
We were able
to do a fund raiser and provide one of our puppies to "Make A Wish" for a local little boy who wanted one of our
Mini Retriever pups.
.
For several years we sponsored people for their Polar Plunges where the money goes to The
Special Olympics.
.
We donate money to The Wounded Warriors Project.
.
We donate money to The Alzheimer's
Association.
.
Unfortunately our Volunteer program is on hold due to the Corona Virus for doing "Pet Visits"
with our puppies at an elder care home near us.
.
We donate in the way of volunteering time by having taken the many courses required
to become certified for a couple of different not for profit organizations that offer short term immediate shelter to animals
in need. Whether it is to aid Law Enforcement, Domestic Abuse situations, temporary homelessness, hospitalizations,
deaths, etc. Whenever an animal's home or human is abruptly taken away from them, we will find immediate transportation
and temporary care until a more permanent situation is found.
.
We donate money and surplus supplies to a few different Animal Re-homing
organizations in our state. We DO NOT donate to the HSUS (now called HWA) or the ASPCA. These are political
organizations that do not see the worth in purpose bred animals. We choose to donate to "TRUE" re-homing groups
who do not purchase their animals to re-sell.
